If you read old books dedicated to Propaganda, you'll notice that the meaning of this word is a little bit wider than the one that we give to it now: it refers to political advertising as well as to the commercial one. While Propaganda is part of our everyday life since ancient times (roman's triumphal arches are nothing more than huge, marble propaganda posters), the neuro-psychological mechanisms that make it meaningful and effective have been codified at the beginning of the twentieth century, especially by the evil genius of Edward Bernais.
I have always been attracted by Propaganda, especially Political Propaganda, and few years ago I started collecting printed and digital versions of Political Propaganda Posters and publications. I created this site to be able to add a tag-based search system to my collection. If you think that some of the images published on this website are violating your copyright, please let me know, and I'll act accordingly. These pages will be updated irregularly, but they are free to use and browse. Hope you enjoy.
Here is a list of books you might find interesting if you're into Propaganda. The links are referrals to Amazon. Buying your books following these links will support this project at no cost for you.
